Trudie Mooney, who lives and works in Donegal, is one of my favourite still life artists (I previously blogged about her here). You can see an extensive range of her work on Coloured Rain, but the greyish blue groups are my favourite. And the palette of the top painting has all my favourite colours from this post.

I missed your previous post so glad to have seen this one. These are beautiful. I love the colours and the light.
ReplyDeleteThanks Alice - One of her paintings is definitely on my "investment" list!
ReplyDeleteShe reminds me of Margaret Olley. Not completely, but in some ways. I love Olley's work.
ReplyDeleteJane, I'd appreciate if you'd look at the website of Stephen's cousin, www.danawinder.com
ReplyDeleteI love some of her work, esp. the ones with the more bold colours. She gave Stephen and me a painting for our wedding!
Enjoy your weekend! And congrats for sticking to your March resolutions!! I haven't been quite so good.
Alice - I wasn't familiar with Margaret Olley - thanks for the introductions!
ReplyDeleteAnd Junebug - how nice to have an artist in the family!
