Carrier Company

For a girl who lives downtown in a one-bedroom apartment, I have a ridiculous fixation on gardening paraphernalia. Norfolk-based Carrier Company is fuel to my fire. Do I really need a Kindling Sack? Likely no. Do I want one? Yessir! And Potato Bags should clearly be mine. Not to mention, pails and aprons, market bags and log carriers.

  2. So clever Jane! I want to bundle up some fresh flowers in rustic burlap, take them home and create. I'm inspired for next week's Wicker Park farmers market. One of the best for flowers.

  4. Sometimes I consider moving home to my parents just so that I can have a garden again. I don't even have a balcony...

  5. Oh, I just love gardening supplies. I could spend hours in Lowe's gardening section. These items are way prettier than most.

  7. Oh, but do I know how that feels! Just the premise of moving into an apartment with slightly wider window sills next month has spurred several nights of obsessive bookmarking and list-making of all the future varieties of succulents and air plants that I want to buy as soon as possible. I think living in urban environments has that effect on all of us.

  9. Ah, my beloved Norfolk! I've seen her products in Wells-next-the-Sea and I think my Mum has one of the gardening aprons.
