Continuing on from the 3 favourite bathroom posts, here are three favourite bedrooms. The top bedroom in fact is from the same house as one of the bathrooms and I think overall they betray the same consistent mood and palette as the bathrooms. There's nothing opulent or ostentatious about these rooms. Though in such simplicity, materials and finish are very visible. So, if they were cheap the whole room would look tacky.
The gray palette in all of them really appeal to me and as simple as it is, the textures in the second one make it really interesting. I'm loving these 3's that you're doing!
I would move into that top room right now. I've been on the lookout for a fabulously understated grey wool blanket for a while now, but I can't afford the quality I want, so I'm holding off.

ReplyDeleteLove these rooms. We have very similar taste!
ReplyDeleteThey appear to be so effortlessly put together, but i'm sure it's not so easy to pull off in reality.
