Walls

I want these walls. I think it's a scratch coat to make the walls look concrete?? Anybody know? I'm also fond of the round bolster and birdcage too! These images are from Day Birger et Mikkelsen's Home collection.

  1. They have the best images hands down---I would KILL to be able to see one of their stores!

And I didn't realize you live in Toronto, Jane! That's where I grew up! Sometimes I miss it SO much...

  2. Yay Torontonians! I moved here five years ago and love the city more and more. Are your family still here?

  3. They do look great! Something about the look of concrete appeals to me. It's just so solid.

  5. Hard for me to "read" but could be Venetian Plaster.

  6. Is there any reason they couldn't just be concrete walls? I live in Holland (which has a lot of similarities with Denmark) & the walls in houses & apartments are mostly concrete. When we stripped wallpaper out of one of our bedrooms, it was blank concrete underneath with no texture or prepping for paint or anything... Looked VERY similar.

  7. Easy to Miss, yes they could very well be! That's what I would really wish for! (I'm now officially jealous of your walls;)
