I've noticed that I'm drawn mostly to rooms and outfits that are neutral, with an equal balance of dark and light (all white does nothing for me). Much as I'm drawn to a rich hue in a store or image, when I get it home, it just doesn't feel like me.
More than that, I like organic shapes and deep patina. I find this aesthetic the dominant one on my Tumblr too and this post from Emma seemed to cohere with the whole feeling, though I'm always reluctant to embrace labels. This is all a very long way of saying that, for these reasons, Jennifer Graham's work resonates with me at a deep level.
